This is INSPIRO’s initiative to help the development of the Nigerian Music Industry in the area of Jazz and Jazz related music. NAIJAZZ is a platform that represents multiple Nigerian Jazz and Jazz related musicians home and abroad. NAIJAZZ main objectives amongst others are:
- The preservation, promotion and propagation of Nigerian Jazz and Jazz related music with a distinct, indigenous and identifiable tone.
- Development of the practitioners of this genres be it as Jazz, Highlife, Apala, Agidigbo, Juju, Fuji and others
- Collaborating with similar artistes and bodies in other African and International countries.
- Presentation of NAIJAZZ music from the past as a cultural heritage tool hence proper documentation and preservation.
- Others as may further the NAIJAZZ agenda.
As part of the social media week, the NAIJAZZ artistes being presented include:
- Dapo Dina
- Victor Ademofe
- Imole Afrika
These will be performing in collaboration with artistes from the 1 management stable including Ebisan, Styl Plus, wiz-boy and others.
The CEO of Inspiro Productions and project director of NAIJAZZ is Ayoola Sadare.
